Rishabh Jain worked with the Prague Shakespeare Company in the summer of 2025, studying Chekhov, Stanislavski, and Grotowski techniques while performing on international stages. With PSC, he played Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, directed by Dmitry Troyanovsky & Linda Gates at Divadlo Bez zábradlí (Prague, Czech Republic), and also toured the production to Teatro a l’Avogaria (Venice, Italy) under Troyanovsky’s direction. He also portrayed Edgar in King Lear, directed by Alasdair Hunter at Divadlo Na Prádle (Prague, Czech Republic).
These experiences deepened his craft and expanded his perspective on performance, blending classical training with the unique resonance of Shakespeare’s work across cultures and stages. He is drawn to roles that challenge him emotionally, physically, and intellectually, and thrives on the interplay between rigorous technique and raw storytelling.
